Imed Drine

Imed Drine is the Manager of Economic Research at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). He holds a PhD in economics from Sorbonne University, France. He joined the Islamic Development Bank in 2013. He previously served as research fellow at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research in Finland. He also served as associate professor of economics and Head of Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sousse in Tunisia. Imed is a macroeconomist and econometrician, and his recent research focuses on development economics and global trade, with a regional specialization in the Middle East and North Africa.
